Prepare for a rewarding care giving career with CDI College. As a student in the Health Care Aide program you will learn to assist clients and patients who require basic nursing care or assistance with mental health issues. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, you will develop the essential skills and knowledge to care for clients either living at home or in long-term care facilities. In addition, you will take part in a 6-week clinical placement that will give you essential hands-on experience in the field. As a graduate of this program, you will be prepared to work in retirement homes, long-term care facilities, home health care agencies, residential care centers and group homes.
