Event managers are the glue that holds an event together, often in charge of managing finances, contracts and negotiations, supervising staff and volunteers and many other tasks that keep an event running smoothly. Whether it's a summer music festival or a keynote speaker event for CEOs, the Event Coordination and Management program gives students basic event planning building blocks that can be applied to a variety of event situations. This program also prepares students to pass key certification exams that are recognized within the industry and will help them secure employment
