Construction Electrician Foundation

Skilled trades people are always in high demand! Vancouver Career College’s Construction Electrician Foundation Diploma Program will prepare you for an entry level position as an apprentice electrician with contracting companies involved in residential and commercial electrical work.
As a student in the Construction Electrician Foundations program, you will work and learn in classroom, laboratory and shop settings where experienced instructors will demonstrate safe and efficient installation and maintenance techniques. You will learn various residential electrical mechanisms, including power, lighting, alarm, data and communication systems. You will study safety issues and electrical theory. You will also learn to read electrical blueprints and apply the electrical code. Five weeks of practicum allow you to test your skills in a job setting.
