Interior Design
THE SPACES WE WORK AND LIVE IN IMPACT LIVES.
Imagine having the ability to create spaces where people feel comfortable - in the office, while shopping or at home. With a degree in interior design, that person could be you. Along with your bachelor’s degree, you’ll receive a well-rounded foundation based on the technical, creative and human factors of interior design. Building on the principles of drawing, drafting, color and basic design, you’ll also learn about human factors, space planning, interior construction and detailing, safety and building codes and computer-aided design (CAD). You’ll receive a historical perspective of interior design, an understanding of interior design business practices, collaboration techniques for working with related professionals and, finally, an awareness of professional responsibilities and ethics for personal practice. The best part? You can earn your degree from home, and on your schedule by attending the Westwood College online campus and the online interior design school. When you graduate, you’ll have the skills necessary to obtain entry-level positions in the industry, such as an interior designer,* drafter, designer or showroom manager. It’s what’s inside that matters - and we’ll help you discover and refine the talents that reside within you.
