Online Home Schooling

The rave about online schooling and online degrees has even lead to academic institutions offering online home schools. With the parents consent and efforts, students have been able to home school for quite some time now. Whether the student was a busy athlete in training or simply did not fit into a classroom setting, homeschooling has been there as an option for quite some time now. However, online home schools are a more recent development like that of any other online degree courses. Online homes schools vary from K-12 meaning that a child can graduate high school and make their way to a top university even by never attending a traditional school. No tardy bells, backpacks, and sacked lunches…it is amazing how times have really changed. The history of online schools and online colleges started in 1989, which is as recent as 21 years ago! It seems like an idea that has been dwelling for decades but not only until University of Phoenix decided to create an online campus world in 1989 did the phenomenon begin. As the first online class graduated in 1991, the concept of online schools began to catch on and other schools came about as well. It has been around for 21 years but it is now that people are used to the idea of completing courses online and receiving degrees through the internet.
