It can come in handy too as many design jobs are linked to marketing and marketing skills require business knowledge. Look up a few online classes and programs to see if specific business classes can be beneficial to you. Career options increase with more classes and degrees in your resume as you climb up the ladder at your job. You may have started as an assistant but can soon climb up to become a designer, then senior or lead designer, and then a creative director.
